The FIFI Event is a fun, sophisticated gals’ charity golf invitational, dinner party, and auction – and you are invited to be part of the magic!
FIFI 2009 sold out at the 2008 event — another great year ahead! But with the local buzz about FIFI, you must be wondering, “What is FIFI…fore!!?”
FIFI is your invitation to join an ever growing circle of fun-loving female friends who possess common aspirations - to play, celebrate our friendships, and defeat cancer.
FIFI has laughed, played, and hugged her way from 50 friends to over 300 friends in four short years and, in the process, has donated over $200,000 to the Cancer Society. FIFI has done all this merely through our collective pennies, our deep affection for friends in need, and a “can do” attitude. No big corporate underpinnings, no slick marketing ploys, no stodgy strategic plans. It was merely time…time to celebrate our friendships and time to give back! We’ve turned our putts, chips, sculls(!), and love of a good laugh into significant donations.
Our friends are grandmas, moms, and daughters…some are all three!! Over half our gals don’t even play golf! In fact, golf is now almost a side-dish to our playful day of joy and hope. Many are professionals, proprietors, practitioners, or private business entrepreneurs. But some of our most distinguished friends are our sponsors – typically local businesses that our gals frequent and rave about! Community sponsors and businesses with the savvy to jump on board have catapulted our dollars into truly substantial donations and have placed their enterprises on the map of each and every FIFI Gal…for a truly charitable act is always rewarded.
If you are here reading this, you either are already a friend, know a friend, or need a friend. FIFI 2009 sold out at the 2008 event, but you can still join us! We would be ever so grateful for your support, as a sponsor or donor …and we also need dozens of energetic volunteers, “FIFI Gals”, to help bring FIFI to life! Even the smallest donation for our auction can translate into a modest fortune. And if you would like to jump in to be part of our day, consider the possibilities, after all, we have a different sponsor at every hole on the course!
